Welcome
Welcome to my blog. It’s really just for me to get my thoughts out every so often. Especially considering it’s the summer and I’ve basically got nothing better to do. I know there probably won’t be a lot of excitement going on in here, but if you’re a music fan you are bound to find something exciting in here for you.

Well work has been.... stressful. I guess you could call it. I've been working eight hour shifts and it's killing me. You have no idea how hard it is to go from sitting on your ass all summer to standing for eight hour long periods of time. It's not fun, that's for sure. I guess I'm getting more and more used to the place, but I've still screwed up a couple times. I guess that is to be expected though, I mean you can't do everything perfectly when you've never done it before. I've had to learn to do the whole photocopying thing and it's actually not to hard, it's just that there are like 10 other machines in there that I haven't even begun to learn what they do. Today is my first day off in a while and it's been insane. I'm making money though, so I guess that's a good thing. I'm not going to be totally broke anymore and having to like scrounge up money to buy stuff. See I have always been one of those really cheap people who doesn't really like to spend any of their money haha. The only things that I actually buy religiously are like certain magazines, books and CD's. I'll rarely actually buy clothes for myself and if I do the article of clothing must be less than $30 haha, yeah I'm cheap. I told you.

It's kind of weird considering that I'm not going back to school this year. I mean sometimes I'm glad that I'm not going but in a way I kind of miss it. I guess you could say that I felt comfortable in school and now having to venture out into 'real life' is kinda turning out to be a big shock. Hearing about all my friends going off into like University and College makes me a bit jealous sometimes. I mean I watch shows like Greek and stuff and I'm totally wishing I could get the whole 'college' experience thing. No it's not like I wanna go to party and get drunk and have sex with half the male student population like the people on that show. But I think it would be cool to try out. I highly doubt that most colleges and university play out anything like they do on Greek anyways. I do love that show though. Thank god it's finally back for another season.

I guess with September comes the start of all the shows that I tend to watch religiously. Unfortunately i'll probably have to like tape them all and watch them later considering the fact that I'm working basically all week until like 9:30. But so far I've been able to watch Melrose Place, which to be honest I was kind of excited about. I really wanted to see Ashlee Simpson-Wentz in it. I mean I'm not going to lie, I love that girl, despite her whole SNL lip-sync tragedy I still think she's a pretty rad person and not only because she's married to Pete Wentz and all. Haha, no although Bronx is probably the most awesome baby around. Ok, I kid. But to be totally honest I was rather disappointed in Melrose Place. It was alright, I mean it wasn't the worst show I've ever seen but it's exactly the way Melrose Place is supposed to be, totally over the top over dramatic. I mean someone gets killed and it turns out that it was their long lost twin sister that they never really knew about. Ok, thats not really what happened in the show, but that's the kind of thing I hate about shows like Melrose Place. They always have extremely insane plots that nobody can ever relate to. I will continue to watch it though. I'm a firm believer in giving it a chance, well that and I want to see more of Ash, since her last acting gig was like on CSI: NY with Pete and it was really really short. Before that was on though, 90210 was on. Honestly I gave up on that show a long time ago, it also has those really stupid plots. Plus I never really liked any of the characters. They were all just annoying. Oh and speaking of annoying characters, let's talk about Glee. Alright so I'll probably also continue to watch this show, because it isn't that I hate it or anything. But I honestly dislike every female character on that show. That Rachel girl is annoying as hell and so is Emma and the dude's wife, whatever her name is. I mean seriously. The whole musical thing is alright, I mean considering the fact that they use decent songs and stuff, but I hate the way the people act, like whenever they sing you can totally tell they are lip-syncing, if you're going to lip-sync at least make it look believable and don't open you're mouth so fricken wide that it looks like you're trying to stick your fist it in. They don't even sing, like someone else is singing it on a track. I was like WTF. What has this world come to?

Now can we talk about a show that I actually liked? The Vampire Diaries. Ok I'll admit at first I wasn't even planning on watching it. I was just like 'oh great another thing that's trying to feed off the whole twilight thing' which I am very annoyed with btw. Twilight seriously is starting to piss me off.... Anyways. I actually really liked the show so far, maybe it had something to do with the fact that Ian Somerhalder, who played Boone on Lost was in it. But whatever. It actually looks like it's going to be a decent show. And the best part about it? Holy shit, it actually had good actors rather that stupid Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and the rest of their cast of retards. I know all those stupid Twihards would probably want to kill me for saying that but seriously? Did anyone see Robert at the Teen Choice awards when he won choice hottie? What a weirdo. Plus on that topic of Choice Hotties..... Megan Fox? COME ON! She looks like a man half the time. I don't know how people find her so attractive. I could totally understand if it was like Blake Lively or something, she is very pretty, but Megan Fox? Just so. I mean the only time she's actually looked good was in Transformers.... I don't know why but she actually looked decent there.

Oh and have I mentioned that I am totally excited for the MTV VMA's? Because I totally am. I want the Cobra's to win soooo badly. I know that they totally deserve it. They have been working so hard and are finally getting the recognition that they totally deserve. I mean come on, they are such an amazing band and they totally deserve to actually get some kind of an award for it. Oh and of course Cassadee Pope from Hey Monday is going to be interviewing people on the red carpet for Buzznet. So i'm totally excited for that! I'm also excited for all of the rest of the shows that are starting soon like One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Heroes, Greys Anatomy, Flashforward (The lost spin off! OMG!) and I'm even going to stoop so low as to say the Hills. I've always hated Kristen C. and I know I'm going to hate her on the show but I at least want to watch a couple episodes to see how it turns out. Anyways this turned out a bit longer than expected. But whatever, once I get to talking about my favourite TV shows there is no stopping me.

Haha I so need to start watching some TV shows or something. I'm so lost anytime people start talking about TV shows :P. I totally get your sentiments about work though...the whole suddenly standing for 8 hours after being on your butt all summer. Yea.. Although it's not work, my orientation week here has got me soo frickin pooped out. There's so much walking involved then there's like tons of energy output in the whole cheering thing lol. It's pretty crazy and exhausting.
