So basically I haven't really been able to keep up with this as much as I'd like to. I'm doing my best though. It's just hard because I go to work and get home at like 9:30 and then I just want to go to bed, or I'll get home at around 5:00 and then I have to have dinner and by that point I'm just so dead tired that I just want to go watch TV and do something totally mindless. But today I only worked from 9:00-1:00 so I wasn't too bad. I hate starting at 9:00 though, because that means I have to get up at like 6:30 in order to get ready and all that crap. It kinda sucks. But I'm finally going to get my first paycheck this week. I think my manager said something about payday being on Friday so it all sounds good to me. I need to get paid haha. So far I've made like $400 in only a couple weeks so I'm totally going to save up for my Mac. I'm not totally sure which one I'm going to get yet. I might just get a simple MacBook, instead of the whole Pro one. Mainly because the Pro one is more expensive and I just don't like spending my money haha. But I'm planning on taking about $200 from every paycheck and just putting it in a savings account so that I can save up and eventually I'll have enough money for it without going broke haha. The last thing I want to do is go broke.Once I've got enough money for my MacBook i'm going to have to start putting away money to save up for car insurance because I've got my road test set for December 18th. It's kind of insane considering that is like three months away, but my driving lessons don't start until October 8th so basically I've got a while to go. The road tests are totally booked up for some reason, apparently there are a million people all trying to get their licenses at the same time. It's kinda insane. But whatever.
Time to talk a bit of TV now. So I watched the new season of One Tree Hill and to be honest I was really disappointed. It wasn't my thing at all. Without Lucas and Peyton the whole show has a totally different dimension and all of these new characters who I don't really like. It's just going too far I think. Plus the plot lines are kind of over used. I mean is there really nothing else that they can come up with? Also Gossip Girl. Well I'm going to be honest again and say that I was disappointed. I don't know if my opinion in television is just changing or I've just built up all of these shows so much that I'm just becoming disappointed with the outcomes. But whatever the case I sure hope these shows get better because they used to be my favourites and I would hate to have to abandon them. Melrose Place? Well, the whole Sideny thing is annoying as hell and I wish her character wouldn't have even been in the show. It's just stupid. Everything about her is so lame and it's just pissing me off. The whole thing is way too overdramatic for my taste. But I'm going to get at least five episodes in before I make my final opinion on each of these shows. Mainly because sometimes it just takes a while for the shows to catch my interest. Lets just hope they get better.
Now, what elese happened recently? Well not a hell of a lot to be honest. I've been reading a lot actually. Just some random books, not super hardcore literature or anything. Not even close really. I've mainly just been reading those mindless teenage books. Because I'm not going to lie, they are rather entertaining and for the most part they tend to catch my interest quickly. I read this one book, Marked by P.C Cast & Kristen Cast. It's about Vampires and stuff, totally scamming off the whole Twilight thing and stuff but I still liked it. It was different and it kept my interest. Also I've always been a fan of Meg Cabot books, call them shallow or whatever, but I still love reading them. I actually read Pants On Fire. It was pretty good. One of those books that was hard for me to put down actually. Also if you don't already know I'm kind of a magazine junkie so I read the latest issues of Alternative Press with Paramore on the cover (amazing article on them by the way, the whole Josh and Hayley dating thing, i was totally going I KNEW IT!), Entertainment Weekly and Nylon. I honestly love Nylon magazine, I just love the looks of it. It's amazingly well put together. The design of it is fantastic. I wish that I could do something like that in the future. I don't even really know what you would call that, but like designing covers and layouts of magazines would be awesome. It's just such a beautifully well put together magazine. Everything in it is just so edgy, it's awesome. I should probably just go through and actually read it though. Considering the look of it caught my interest so much i just kind of scanned through the whole thing without even really glancing at the text of it.
So yeah, thats basically what I've been up to lately. Nothing much else to say.
